I'll start at the beginning. I had a vet visit yesterday at 11:40 a.m. When Mommy and I arrived there, we sat down next to a gentleman who also had a cat in a carrier. Mommy faced the front of my carrier toward the gentleman so he could see how good-looking I was (she always loves to show me off to other cat people anytime she goes to the vet. Anyway, in this gentleman's cat carrier was the cutest Maine Coon type boy kitten. His ear floof was as long as mine and Bail's put together! Mommy asked the nice gentleman what his kitten's name was and he said, "Little Richard". Of course, Mommy laughed and she told him that my name was "Sampson Silver Dollar" a/k/a "Sampy".
Anyway, when the conversation was done, I was carried to the back room where they took my temperature (Bummer! No words can describe how much I hate that!). I was then weighed in at 12.9 lbs(I lost some weight as it used to be 13.1). It looks I trimmed down for the summer.
Also, the vet checked out my heart (it sounded normal, thank goodness), my teeth are good except for some tartar, and my tummy, bladder feel normal. Also, my eyes and ears are fine too! Lastly, came the distemper shot that's supposed to last three years. I'm glad of that as that one hurt. I uttered a small "ouch" in kitty lingo "maap".
Anyway, today is a lay back rainy type of day. I'm glad it's raining 'cause we needed it badly. Now the grass is a lovely green again!
Purrs & Breeps everycat!
