First of all, I concat Bail on his DDP today. He almost got #1! Way to go, bro!

Also, he's still in hiding. After the ductcleaners left, Mommy went back into the computer room with some catnip in order to lure him and Merl out from under the bed. It turned out that Merl was under the bed and Bail was under the covers. Mommy saw this bulge under the covers and first thought she didn't make the bed right and had left a small blanket bundled up. She touched the bulge and it was hard and solid. What?? She pulled up the covers and there was Bail. He had managed to get under the covers when the bed was already made!!!

She picked him up and he started purring and acting normal. After several minutes she let him and Merl out of the computer room. Merl went about his business and had some catnip. Bail, on the other hand, had disappeared to the regions under the master bedroom bed and that's where he still is at 5:32 p.m. I think he got more scared than any of us. Even Cam came back upstairs after the men had left.

Mommy thinks maybe he'll come out if she offers him a piece of chicken. That always works.

Poor Bail, we all feel for him. He usually doesn't freak like this. It's a bummer that this had to happen on a day that he got DDP.

Anyway, I'll try to convince him that everything's okay and to come out of hiding.
