Arrival Story: I purchased Bentley from a pet store in 1991. He was the only boy in a litter of three (two sisters) and he was about three months old at that time. I thought he was a little too hairy to be a shorthair, (he was passed off as a domestic shorthair) and as he grew up he turned into one beautiful ball of fluff! He was a van-patterned brown tabby.

Bio: Bentley was my pride and joy, my show cat, my love. I miss him dearly. He passed away on May 23, 2005 of kidney failure. When he was alive and well, he was in many CFA shows and Household Pet Shows. He won many ribbons. A lot of them were first through third place. He was shown for ten years 1993 - 2003. He was also in the centerfold of Cat Fancy in 1993 in an article entitled "Oddly Marked Cats". He also appeared in Cat Fancy in another article entitled "How Cats Play" which I believe was during the same year. He also appeared in the anthologies of John Guevin's "Uncommon Cats" and "More Uncommon Cats" and in the Scratch Sheet" magazine of "The Maine Coon Breeder's and Fanciers Association" The article was entitled "Apparent Maine Coons". Also, I wrote a short story about him entitled "Bentley: An American Plume Tail" which appeared in the magazine "I Love Cats" in 1993. Yes, Bentley was my special cat . . . my celebrity! Words alone cannot convey how much I love and miss my dear Bentley. Now he is at the Rainbow Bridge along with my other dear cats which I will later add to this site: Jasmine Bibette, Max and Isis. I will also enter his friend who is still living, my 8-year-old Sampson (pictured getting an ear wash from Bentley). Bailey Gray Cloud, who is my newest fur baby and Bentley's replacement show cat, will also be entered in my cat family. Cammie will also be entered. My mom passed away and I got Cammie, who is a beautiful shorhaired tortie with white. My newest addition will be Merlin who is about three months old will be picked up this week. He is solid black. Lastly, today is Bentley's birthday, March 15th. If he was still alive he would have turned 15. I was thinking a lot of him today because of this. I still love and will always miss my pretty angel baby cat.

March 15th is my birthday and of course, it's been celebrated at the Bridge since March of 2006 (I made my journey to the Bridge a couple months after I turned 14 years old in 2005).
Anyway, I thank the family of ORANGE RUFFY and the Family of HALLIE for their lovely gifts (rainbow and leprechaun hat).
Also, we're been getting a lot of new angels at the Bridge; HOOCH and JONES. Of course, Daddy Rob's cat MAXX made his journey to the Bridge on the same date as Jasmine Bibette did (February 20th). I was there to greet them along with the rest of our angel family and many other angels.
Lastly, I'm so thankful that Mommy doesn't have that nasty "C" monster in her blood. Our angel dust and prayers along with others have helped her.

I understand Mommy found a color slide of her holding me when I was a kitten. This slide was dropped off at a place called Ritz Camera today. It'll be made into a 4x6 mat photo and should be ready some time tomorrow. Then Mommy will scan it into her computer and load it onto my page for all to see.
Anyway, I'm doing well at the Bridge and have a lot of friends here. I'm sending purrs and angel dust to all who need it on earth.

I noticed by an email Mommy got this morning that I'm in the Diary Spotlight again. They have me as #1 of the Diary Picks, but I can't remember if those were the picks for Monday. Today they called me one of the Diary Picks and the other day they called me Diary of the Day! I'm confused. Anyway, thanks again Diary Gal for putting me up in the spotlight again.
I'm going to keep it short as Mommy has another doctor's appointment. She also has her knee surgery set for April 23rd. The only draw back now is who will be willing to take her there as the check in time is 5:30 a.m. and surgery's set for 7:30 a.m. The birds aren't even up at 5:30 a.m.!!!!
Mommy has no husband nor boyfriend who could take her. She doubts that her brother can take her or Auntie Mary as they work a lot and she doesn't think they can get the time off.
What do they do in cases like this? Are there any type of nursing services that pick up seniors who have no ride to the hospital???
Well, if it were up to me, I'd have a bunch of guardian angels come to earth in their car and take Mommy to the hospital . . .
Well, I got to fly.
