An Angelic Lion

How I got my name

I was the runt (and cutest) of my litter. Knew I had to do something to make my place in the world. Jumped on the biggest guy in the litter. We became really close. Lucky, we got picked together. Katmandu (Kat) was named for another cat, a cream point himalayan who had just passed right before we were born.

No name for me. What would be a good name? My new human's sister is a big fan of the show 'Charmed'. Her brother was nice enough to order the first season on DVD for her from Amazon. He had a poster his neice had bought for his wife (gone now two years) - a white persian kitten with wings and halo - "Purrfect Angel".

He saw the poster after placing the order. There's a male character on the show who's a gaurdian angel. His name? Leo!

I was definitely angelic. At the same time, I'm a brave little guy. Just like a little lion. And the scientific name for the lion? Panthera Leo...

Yes, I'm an angelic little lion. And Felis Yeti - the Abominable Snowcat (see my picture in the snow).
