I was talking to my hairdresser about the no kill rescue that I work for and the lady beside of me asked for my help. She said this cat had just wondered up to her house and she took him in and put him on her screened in porch. She also took him to the vet, had all his shots and found out he was a neutered male. She had been calling him Allie as she thought he was a she, so I renamed him Ollie since he already responded to Allie. Anyway, he was in terrible shape...all of his beautiful black and white, long hair, was matted and I was sure all of his hair would have to be shaved. I took him to a good groomer who helps us at the shelter and she gave him a good herbal bath and combed all of those mats out of his hair. His skin had been a running sore where he had tried to pull the mats out, but now they are healing and his hair is growing back. I felt so sorry for him. I just now have been able to pick him up because his skin was so sore I couldn't touch him.
Ollie is up for adoption to find his forever home. He is coming out of his shell quite nicely but still gets scared of loud noises or sudden movements toward him. He requires some patience but I am sure that once he was someone's beloved pet and some how became lost. Please help me give Ollie his forever home!

on Tuesday, I got my new forever home...I now live with a cute, little, red headed girl with freckles and her momma....they come to get me during a storm, which I am so afraid of all those boomers...I hid in the closet and my foster mom had to drag me out...I was scared but they took me home and my foster mom hugged me and told me bye...she cried and I didn't understand what was happening. My new momma told my foster mom that I would make her let her know how I was doing....I already made my new mommy email my foster mom...I am already sleeping in the bed with my new mom..I am so happy and I know without my foster mom, I would have never found this new home...Thank God for Foster mom's they are the bestest....
