Arrival Story:
Greyson was part of the first Mother/litter foster I did. He and his three littermates were too young to be altered and adopted out and they hadn't been around people and needed some warming up. Their mom was a doll, but quite the hussy. Little did the humane society realize they were sending a pregnant female into a first time foster parent's care - and before she'd even weaned the last litter! I didn't think foster parents were allowed to adopt their fosters and I got so attached to Greyson that I sobbed when I brought him back. It was then that I learned there is no such rule (yeah, and now, six years later, I have SIX cats). I also kept his brother Jack from the second litter. I kept Greyson because I loved him. I kept Jack because no one else could love him. That site, My Cat Hates You, it was made for Jack. "Jack hates you because you're not a cat." Cats are the only creatures Jack has the time of day for. Humans are one of life's necessary evils.

Greyson's Diary

Christmas is over......

Mom got tired of the jingle-jingle sounds from six collars. One by one she clipped off our bells. Oh, well. It was fun for a while.

Summer found a home. Yea, Summer! She was nice, but I'm glad she found a good home of her own. We have enough cats here already. Still waiting for Alex to find a home. He's sort of sabotaging the process by acting all scardy cat around potential adopters. I think he's trying to avoid getting adopted so he can stay. Mom has promised he is just a guest, but he's sure making himself at home.....

There has been this nice willow basket on the sidebar for the last week. It has Mom's tax receipts, etc in it. I like snuggling in it so I was glad to hear she filed an extention. Sounds like this little basket will be here until at least August!

Wheeeeee!

Mom brought home this cool new toy - it's a catnip fish! This is one of my new favorites. You can see it in my pictures. Isn't it cool?
