Yesterday, Mom woke up super early, 4:30. She tossed and turned but couldn't get back to sleep so went down to the living room and got on the computer. Nothing going on at Catster at that time of the day! So she watched a really old movie. It was pretty good!

Sophie, Benjamin, LBK and I were running around like we always do. Nothing seemed unusual. She got up and make a cup of tea, still nothing unusual.

Around 6:30, she got up again and noticed something next to her chair. It looked like a string attached to... something. She didn't have her contacts in so had to lean way down to see it. Can you guess what it was? A tail still attached to the hind end of a mouse! YES! We caught a mouse! High fives all around!

*does a victory dance*

She's pretty sure it was a group effort. But later she noticed Benjamin staring at her. As she looked at him, he slowly blinked his eyes and smiled.

Her friend thinks we left part of the mouse as a gift for her. Of course! She always feeds us, so we thought we'd return the favor.
