Arrival Story:
I am still in foster care looking for my forever home. A really nice person found me outside and took me to a shelter in Spokane, WA. Sadly, the shelter gets lots of animals so they are "high kill." There is a really nice lady there who works hard to get us out of there though. She sent my foster mom pictures of me and was able to bail me out of that kitty jail. Now I am hanging out with her and my foster siblings until I find a home of my own. My mom says it shouldn't be hard, because I'm a cool guy.

Here is what my foster mom has to say about me: "William is a sweet and loving boy who will follow you anywhere you go. If you're hands aren't close to him, he'll stand on his hind legs so you can pet him. He has made himself very comfortable in a short period of time. Since he goes wherever I go, he sleeps on the bed with me. If I get up for a drink, he follows me to the kitchen and back to the bed. He sleeps near my feet or head and has yet to block me from reading a book. He's comfortable anywhere. I've even found him sleeping in the tub! He also likes to have his belly rubbed and will stretch out on his back to let your rub away. Even though someone was mean enough to make him a front de-claw, he still loves to knead when he's happy. William is already neutered, microchipped and 1st FVRCP and rabies vaccine. He'll be ready to go home on 03-17-06." For more information or if you are interested in William, please e-mail Mariesa maine_coon_lovers@yahoo.com Here's a story from my foster mom that she thought was funny: Tonight I was washing the dishes and cleaning up the kitchen. I had the stero on while I was working. William kept coming in and wanting attention. He was walking on the counter above the sink and across the dishwasher door. He really enjoys his people and will want to spend time with you anytime you're around.
