Yes, I have the TERRIBLE and DREADED task of trekking up to Boston tomorrow morning for a job that *may* last as long as 3 months. I will be traveling back and forth between there and home, but I have no idea how often or for how long when I do.
I will have my laptop, but I honestly do not know if and when I might have the chance to log on to Catster and "check in".
I have not been active much since Don and I helped Gonzo cross the bridge (for obvious reasons) and of course, it's ironic that just as I'm ready to get back to business and THANK EVERYONE for their rosettes / stars, e-mails of support, etc, I am called away.
To all our friends, please know that every thought is appreciated and I hope that you know that you are all in our thoughts for well wishes and happy days each time I see my kitties play or sleep or just bask in the sunbeams that shine through our windows.
Much love and thanks to you all again and I'll (the babies) will be around soon.

I'm "technically" an old lady now but I'll NEVER live up to my real age.
My BEST FRIENDS threw Gordy and I a party that we won't soon forget. Thank you to all the kitties who showed up, kitty kissies to all the kitties who gave us gifts and LOVE to all of my CATSTER clanies.

I'm glad I'm a cat and not my mommy

Gordy's been mad at mommy for not letting him play on the computer. He misses all of our friends TERRIBLY and wanted me to send purrrrrs out to you all.
Mommy's had a rough few months- nothing too crazy, but just time consuming on her part and she's had very little time to do the things she so loves doing with us. Actually, that's not entirely accurate, she LOVES her work and that's been part of our absence. Mommy often leaves us for a few days at a time when she works. Not always, but lately, it's been a few days away from us here and there. She's leaving to do another job tomorrow in Rhode Island and won't be home until the end of the week. I'll miss her. I know Gordy will miss her too but he'll never admit it. Like I said, he's been mad at mommy for a while now and snubs her every chance her gets. He won't greet her at the door anymore, he won't cuddle with her, he won't talk or play with her like he used to. Only with dad and it breaks mommy's heart. I know Gordy will come around- mommy doesn't know that Gordy creeps up onto the bed at night and lays on her legs and purrrrrrs while she's sleeping. OR, that if mommy is up all night for work, he sits and waits for her at the window, never sleeping until she comes home- but then he runs and hides so she doesn't know.
Mommy also had to buy a new car and that's been a strain on her time. She had an accident about a month ago and was forced to look at cars all day when she had the time- either home on the Internet, or out where ever it is you get those things. She didn't WANT to buy a new car, but since her old one was bent out of shape and didn't move any more, she had to. I have NOT been in it yet and that's a good thing- it only means a vet visit when I have to go in a car.
So anyhow, mommy is still going to be away for a while and we may not be around, but Gordy and I are thinking of you and we TRY to sneak on for a second or so to make sure we know what our friends are up to.
I'm sorry we've missed out on all the party invitations that we've received. We hope that all of the birthday's we've missed and other celebratory things have been wonderfully exciting.
I know I've said it before as well as Gordy, but we will be back as soon as we can.

We miss playing games with you guys.
We miss sending bonks and kissies.
We miss you.

1. I used to be toilet trained until Gordy came into the house. His archaic manners got me back into the box too.
2. I don't like it when people OTHER than mommy touch me at all and I'll often threaten to bite them if they don't 'get' my warnings.
3. My favorite place to sleep is under mommy's bed but only when she's sleeping in it.
4. I saw 9-11 in NYC happen from mommy's old apartment window when we lived in NJ.
5. I can hypnotize mommy into giving me a treat when I want one.
6. I like lemonade.
