Black and White
being petted, watching birds, spending time in my outdoor enclosure
going to the vet!!!; taking medicine
PetStages catnip fishies, knitted catnip balls; chasing the tennis ball in the backyard
Favorite Nap Spot:
top floor of the kitty condo, the front bay window, rec room couch
Medi-Cal Gastro Intestinal Fibre Response ('cause my sister has poop issues!)
carries toys in his mouth, walks on the concrete garden borders in our back yard (just like Pepper used to do....)
We decided that Toni needed a friend, so we went to PetSmart and adopted a stray cat.
We thought he was black with a couple of white patches, but when we got him home and saw him in natural light, the stripes on his sides and face were apparent. He's very playful and rubs against our legs and purrs as soon as we walk in the room. We think he's just saying 'thank you for giving me a 'fur-ever' home'! He is named after Nascar crew chief, Greg Zipadelli, and his sister, Toni, is named for Nascar driver, Tony Stewart.
I'm as fast as my name implies!

Yesterday, while I was waiting in a cage at PetSmart, a wonderful couple came and started paying LOTS of attention to me. I guess they decided they really liked me, for soon I found myself saying good-bye to the other kitties there and was lowered into a box.
About 20 minutes later, the box was opened, and I was lifted out for my first view of my new forever home! I was a stray that was picked up by the Perth County SPCA, and had been placed in PetSmart for adoption. I think I am the luckiest kitten alive, and spend every chance I get telling my new Mommy & Daddy how thankful I am! When they come into my room, I rub their legs and play, and even snuggle with them.
Mommy & Daddy let me out of my room yesterday, and I found out there's another cat in the house - I have a sister now! Her name is Toni Stewart. It's ok with me, since I'm used to being around other cats, but she's a little apprehensive. I just wanted to investigate the new part of the house, but she was dogging my every step! She even batted my tail, sniffed me, and Mommy thinks she may have nipped me. I'm not telling if she did - I want to be friends, and I know Toni won't like me if I tattle on her right away.
I'm being quarantined right now. Mommy says it partly so Toni and I can get used to each other, but also because I have a really nasty sneeze. Mommy has even had to wipe a few boogers away. I'm going to see the vet tomorrow, hopefully. I just want to get better so I can play with my new sister!
I'm very, very thankful to have a new forever home and love my new Mommy & Daddy!
