Hello dear friends,
My Auntie Rhonda is typing this for me bacause my daddy and mommy will be very busy during this long Holiday.

They got mutipal graduation parties to attend and much other
things between times!

However, we thank all of you that has sent us all these wonderful gifts. Yum Yum, we like meat:) And what's more, we have some sweets thrown in!!!!!

So please forgive us for not being able to be here to send gifts back to you.

From Smokey's Mom

I just wanted to write a few lines to thank every one who has p-mailed,
Left gifts & offered condolences. I truly appreciate the love & support offered by all the wonderful feline & humans here on Catster. You can not know what it means to me & my family.
Smokey went to the vet on the 19th of Nov. We had noticed he was slowing down faster than expected. We had them run a complete senior panel of tests. By the time we got all the results back we knew that he was fading away.
I returned home from work last Friday at 12:30. Hubby said that
Smokey could not pass urine. He had called the vet & set an appointment for 3:30. Smokey would go to the litter box upstairs
then just stand there & yowl. Then he would go to the box in the basement & repeat the yowling. It was plain that he was in anguish.
We spent the next 3 hours discussing the situation. We could not let him go on this way. So we had decided to help him to the bridge while at the vets office.
I can not imagine that losing a human child could hurt any worse. Smokey was with me for over 16 years. He was only a Baby. He was a talker & would meet me at the door daily as I returned from work. he would not stop meowing at me til I sat down & held him for a while.
I think I shall always miss that.

Gone to Rainbow Bridge

Hi everyone,
This Is Smokey's "Auntie" and I must tell you the painful news.
Smokey is gone now and I was told he went in peace.
Smokey's Mommy will type more when she is able. This is tough for her especially. Pray for the family at this time.

Health issues

Hello My friends,
I am sorry to say that I have recieved bad news from my bi-annual
vet visit. I am now in late stages of kidney failure. Mom & Dad knew that something was going on for a while. I have not been eating well nor being very active.
I am not sure how soon I will be going to the bridge, But Dr. Sarah
says it will not be a long time. I have a heart murmer that has worstened also. That keeps them from doing aggressive therapy such as they used on My Bro Snow in 06.
Please keep me in your purrs & prayers (Mom & Dad too). I still cry to go out on the leash walking, so we do. I just don't feel like socializing much. I will try to keep you all informed as I can.
