PAWS FOR THOUGHT:
Dogs comes when called. A cat takes a message and gets back to you.’ - Warren Eckstein, American cat expert
I really can't speak for dogs, but I can tell you that when mom calls me -- I just acknowledge that I heard her and go back to what I am doing. Unless she is calling me with a bag of catnip in her hand, I very rarely respond on demand. I've been doing this for over 11 years, so why change now. She might think something was wrong with me. Nah, mom is really cool and I try not to give her a hard time too often.
Well last night we pulled off a surprise Anniversary party for Truman at Purrs Meeting. I really think he was surprised. But we just had cake and sang "For He's a Jolly Good Fellow to him and then went on with our main purpose of purrs request. It was a really nice evening. Truman is one of Catster's finest and we wanted him to know that.
The weather here in MF is to get raining, windy and cold over the weekend; so mom went shopping to get stocked up on food and goodies. She didn't even bring anything home for me unless you consider litter and nail clippers as a gift. But they are necessary things to have if you are a cat, I guess. So, I can't complain.
Today Squeakers started a new group called: "Intelligence for Your Life". Its going to be lots of interesting kitty quizes and a whole lot more. I'm not very good at games, but I think it would be good exercise for the brain. So I'm really looking forward to this. What more can you ask for -- A good time and expanding your brain at the same time. Have you noticed that Catster has just about everything anyone could possibly want or be interested in doing. That's what I love about Catster.
Well, please keep all those kitties who may be sick in your prayers, and let's not forget the families who has lost their loved ones either recently or in the past. I'm sure they would appreciate knowing we are thinking of them.
