Chillin' outside; human food; chasing the flashlight's 'light' (loads of fun!); my new backyard
Loud noises; baths; cats; grooming day; other dogs who annoy me; not being allowed on the couches
Anything I can chase or fetch, including socks!
Any form of meat-- especially chicken.
Anywhere there's a field, park, or walking trail.
Sit, and high-five. I'm awesome at them, and will do them reeeally good if I get a treat.
Sav's parents adopted me as a Christmas gift for her, since she'd been wanting another dog for quite some time after she had to give up her old dog when they moved into an apartment. (Don't worry, Bailey got a great home.)
I was living in a house with a lot of dogs, two of which were my littermates, Bebe and Baxter. (Sav regrets getting me from a breeder instead of a rescue.. just after her parents got me she learned about Pet Overpopulation. But she does not regret getting me!) It was fun living there, but some of the dogs were waaay too hyper and playful for me. Usually I hung out with my brother Baxter, snuggling together. But even he sometimes got a bit hyper. So I tried chillin' with Bebe, my sister. She was too preoccupied with the potiental mommies and daddies visiting our house. So yeah, living with seventeen dogs isn't fun. (But the lady was nice, and she looooved me.)
But finally a few people came one day, and I did what I always did, went and hid uinder the table or in the bathroom. But this time, they were looking at me. ME! Me, of all dogs. After about a month of thinking and praying, they took me home. Oh, I remember that like it was yesterday. Very hectic. Riding home in a car full of strangers, not to mention in a crate (pet taxi type thing). They brought me to a strange place that soon I called home for a couple years.
But then. Boxes started coming into the house and were being packed full of our things. It was strange, I tell ya. Soon we were driving for who knows long in our car. Gosh, I hate.. no. Despise car rides. But this was long. Like, two days long. FINALLY, after stopping monotonously at rest stops, and staying at a hotel, we arrived at another hotel. I rolled my eyes as people inside were calling me a Collie pup. I am not a pup! -grrrowl-
THEN, we moved out of our apartment, and into.. a house! With a backyard and everything! Hopefully we'll be staying for a while.
I am a "retired" 4-H dog show champion. I even won Champion, Reserve Champion, First place, and Fourth place. (Not all in the same day, of course.
BUT- don't think I'm all snobby because I'm purebred, and I'm a retired dog show champion. Sav and I are so obsessed with the Shelter/Rescue commuinity. In fact, Sav is looking for a shelter to volunteer at.
I don't care if Lassie did it.

I was tagged by Dreamy!
Mmkay, here is how it ("Tag") works.
Each player starts with seven random facts about themselves. Dogs who are tagged, need to post in their Diary the rules & their 7 pawsome facts. Then choose 7 dogs to tag and list their names. Don’t forget to bark them a pmail that they have been tagged and to read your Diary, or, send them a fun Rosette announcing they've been Tagged!
~~~~~~Here are 7 facts 'bout Brady Bleu!!~~~~~~
1. I've always had somewhat 'stubborn' and 'showdog' -like behavior. (Maybe 'cause I am a "retired" 4-H-er?) Whenever Sav tries to change that, it don't work. -nodnod-
2. I used to eat Pedigree dog chow, but I didn't like. Meaning, I would not eat it whatsoever. (I'm a very picky eater.) So they bought me Purina Beneful. Gosh it's good! (But for the record, not as good as chicken.)
3. Shadow chews up all my toys.
4. I have thing for the girl dog who lives downstairs from us in another apartment. I hear her tags jingle, I /have/ to look out the window. But dangit, Sav found out!
5. I once got a cactus in my paw. =o( It hurt a LOT. But Sav's mom got it out after a few minutes. Phew!
6. I am originally from Front Royal, VA. Then I was driven up to Buffalo, NY, a very nice lady's house that had a lot of dogs, three of them being my brother and sister, and my older sister. Then my family came and saw me, and took me home. Then we all moved to Colorado Springs.
7. Last one. Hmm, I'm running out of ideas.
I like cats a lot, but for some reason they don't like me. They hiss at me and harass me. What savage behavior!
Sorry we haven't been on Dogster for a while. Sav's just been so busy with school and church, and trying to keep in touch with her friends back across the country in New York State, and well, everything else! We're going to try to get on every day like we were before.
Yay, summer's coming! Which means MORE WALKS!! WOOooo... etc.
We'd better start bringing the camera outside too, so you can see everything we did!
Sav is looking for animal shelter to volunteer at.. but she's having trouble finding one. So pray for her that she is successful in finding one, because she really wants to help dogs and cats!
Well our busy life is actually keeping us from writing anything else, (isn't that sad?) but we'll write more, I promise!
Wow, we got a lot of snow today! The Coloradans called it 'Holiday Blizzard `06'. Pff. My family is from New York, and I lived there for a while, (about a year) and for us, this is nothin'! Of course, I don`t like all the snow blowing in my face.. so Shadow and I just pee on the porch in stead of going down the steps to the 'dog potty area' (it`s not really a designated potty area, but a lot of dogs and their humans go there). Bol.. Sav's poor dad went to work in the stuff and then took two hours to get home, probably because of delays/traffic, etc.
