Birthday:
May 1st 2005

Coloration:
Tortoiseshell Tabby

Likes:
She loves to suckle (yeah I know, I know) and she loves to be held like a baby while she takes a nap at night. She thinks she is a human baby, not a kitten. Don't know what we will do when we have an actual human baby? Cassie might get a little upset!

Pet-Peeves:
She isn't too fond of her new "sister" Sasha and she occasionally gets ticked off and makes penguin noises (yes she does... she cannot meow right) at Sasha to tell her to back off.

Favorite Toy:
Her favorite toy ever is a piece of multicolored fleece attached to a stick! But as an alternative she loves to chase a laser light up the walls!

Favorite Nap Spot:
In mommy and daddy's arms, but as you can see from my photos, she does also enjoy to sleep under the covers on mommy and daddy's bed.

Favorite Food:
Tuna juice (but without the meat), Wet kitty food Pate... not the chuncky kind, just pate!

Skills:
She is so cute that we just don't know how to tell her no. What kitty wants, kitty gets. We are wrapped around her tiny paws and she knows it. Also my cat does a fantastic penguin impresonation. We have only heard her meow maybe once or twice, EVER.

Dwells:
indoors

Arrival Story:
Cassie and Shadow (her big "brother") were sitting in a cage at PetSmart. As soon as we seen them I fell in love. Cassie was what daddy refers to as a hobo kitty (one wandering around without a home) and was found wandering alone in the streets of Covington. She was then put into a foster home with Shadow, where they became (well we were told they were) buddies. At first they didn't like each other too much, but it wasn't too long before they were inseperatable. They litterally think they are litter mates, they give kisses, sleep together, and kiss. It is so cute! I love to watch them bathe one another. That has to be the cutest thing in the whole world!

Bio:
My mother and I have a theory. Last June (2005) we adopted a kitten from PetSmart for my dad who was a tortishell tabby. Then in October of 2005 my husband and I adopted Cassie. She looks an awful lot like my parents cat (Porscha) and when we adopted Porscha, she had just had a litter of kittens a month before (the same month Cassie was born according to the vet) and the rescue worker told us that Porscha was found wandering in Covington too. Our theory is that Porscha is my kitten mommy and when I talk to my mother about her cat I usually say Cassie's mommy, instead of Porscha. It is pretty interesting if our theory was really correct, but I guess we shall never know!

Queen of the House

I am the queen of the house and don't let anyone tell you any differently. The new kid on the block (mommy calls her She-Devil and I would have to agree) think she is queen bee, but everyone I am the one who very clearly rules the roost! Shadow, mommy and daddy are wrapped around my little paw. Shadow loves to bathe me and wouldn't do anything to tick me off and he just let me be queen... that is until we got her!

Sasha came to live with us at the very end of January/beginning of February. And I still don't understand why mommy and daddy would bring home such a horrible cat. I love to cuddle with Shadow (on my own terms of course), but this mean cat just hisses and runs.

Well finally as we start into March that evil cat has started to be a little nicer. I think we have agreed to be equals (although I have no intention on being an equal with the likes of her) so that we may being the Calm Spell of '06! Mommy and daddy are afraid that the next major world war may start at our home, but I have news for them... I might be the baby, but I will end the war before it even gets started!
