Either Santa has a great sense of humor or he really does- like bad girls! *purrrs*

This was the best Christmas ever! I didn’t expect anything, except, as usual, to be locked up for almost two days without seeing the light of day. Well outdoors anyway. I hate that, and they should know better, MOL.
Whoever told Santa I was a good girl should go into sales, thank you, thank you!! I got lots of presents…..some of the first things I got I got early and they weren’t wrapped or anything, maybe they weren’t for Christmas, purrsay, but nice presents nonetheless. Mom got me a full-length mirror. It scared me at first, it was like “whoa!” who is that to die for looking feline in the mirror…..danger, danger! MOL! Then I figured out that it was me ……Ha! No wonder! *tilts head having an urge to pose* I’d be either stupid or lying if I didn’t know how beautiful I am, and they know I am. Sorry, but geesh….I can’t help it, and I love the mirror, MOL!
Then I got a larger TV and finally today Dad rearranged the furniture and put it in the nicer bookcase, and he cleaned. A mini home makeover, I guess. BUT, get this, good things…..correction, the BEST things do come in small packages! I got the SWEETEST thing from my MS Busbee. He reads me like a book, he knew I was a bit miffed that I didn’t have a Christmas tree……so what did he do?! He gave me my own! A beautiful shiny silver and green little tree pendant to wear……it’s beautiful, and it looks so good on me! I have it on my blue camo halter now, but it looks good on the pink one, too ! It’s sooo beautiful…….Did I meow that already?! *giggles* OH! And that’s not all either, he gave me a stocking FULL of toys! I don’t know how many, but more than I can count on my toes I think. I told him I’d give him a kiss for every toy.….Well, we’re still kissing…….*more giggles and a little grrr-purrrr*
To top it off….when Mom & Dad got home Christmas night they let me out for a little while, while it was dark. And I love the dark! I helped Mom feed the outties then came in to finish off the venison & rice she was serving. Not too bad, huh? Like I said it was the best ever, but don’t let it get around I’m impressed, gotta keep ‘em aspiring to greater things! wink, wink, head bonks

Peaches, the Squirrel Slayer

Finally, something worth writing about.....Yes, the title meows it all, I killed a squirrel today! Why Mom and Dad are in such denial about it is beyond me, they should be proud shouldn’t they?! They just can’t wrap their heads around the fact I took something that BIG down, MOL.
So Dad says to Mom “well, maybe Pounce the dog got the squirrel” and Mom’s like “no, she didn’t, Pounce went outside with me and I saw her do her business then go sniff something, which was the squirrel, and that drew my attention to it”…… PEOPLE! *rolls her eyes* …..Hellooo?! It was me! Like who ELSE was out here who would or could do THAT??..... the dog hadn’t been out here in hours, the squirrel wasn’t even stiff yet. MOL!
*thinks and shakes her head in disbelief* The dog…..yeah, right?!! The dog is scared of ME, remember? I chase IT, the back yard is MINE……all mine, got it? *stretches out on the deck overlooking her turf and begins to clean her claws with her teeth*
