Arrival Story: His mom was a stray whose mom was a stray, etc., etc. and he from her second or third litter. The first as far as we could tell was a single kitten that she evidently gave birth to and abandoned. Sadly, he didn't survive. However, Geezer and his littermates were better cared for by her, except that when they were about a week old, she decided to try and move them into the space at the top of the garage, and she got him up there, decided it was too hot and too much effort to move the others - so she left him. It was hot! My husband found him crying and dehydrated and brought him indoors to try and save him, and we bottle fed him and have babied him since then.

Bio: When he was just past his first birthday, he was chased by stray dogs and got his leg caught and broke it. We had to have his leg pinned to heal, thus one of the nine lives is gone :-(, but he's fine!
Update: On October 13, 2008, Geezer and his brother Quatchie went out for their morning potty break and bird chasing. Geezer never returned. His fur strewn around a Geezer sized patch of grass in the pasture was all that was left after coyotes caught him that morning. His heartbroken daddy raked it up and buried it in a little grave underneath a shrub inside the fenced yard where he used to lay and wait for birds to come down. We miss him!
