Casey has always been a healthy cat. When I suspected that something was wrong, it was in November and I noticed her drinking a lot of water. I had her tested and she had elevated levels that indicated that her kidneys were failing. For ten months we've kept her comfortable and hydrated with fluids and I made sure she ate as much as she could to keep her weight up.

I am so sorry that you got sick and have made your journey to the next life. Your Mom gave you such a wonderful life and she loved you so much. She was so strong to let you go when it was time, so that you didn't have to suffer any more here on earth. We are sending hugs and prayers of comfort to your Mom. Mietzi, Timo and Mom Always so sad for our families when we have to go I was the first kitty moma ever had to help across the bridge. We are adding our prayers to comfort too.
