This summer

This summer hasn't been to bad for Orion. We have a huge air conditioner that we leave on on those really hot days, but lately there hasn't been many I think the hottest it got was 92. It rained alot yesterday and after it stopped about 20-30 little black birds flew into our yard, Orion really loved this he sat up in the window wishing he could chase them. A couple of months ago Scott [my husband] and I were having a outside party, when we came in for the night we found Orion on the porch trying real hard to get back into the window, he had falled out. He has done this twice already since we've had him and I am so scared to leave windows open I don't want him falling out.

I will try and keep this updated maybe weekly.

It's snowing!

Orion just loves to sit in his window seat and watch the snow flakes fall, not as much as watching the birds though I think he misses them. He seems to really like to eat the snow that has falled from our boots when we come in, I have heard him crunch something too he was eating salt that came off of our boots. I just say "eww Orion, that's gross" and vacuum it up. He just can't wait for spring, and neither can we.

Summer

July was a hot month for Orion, even though we have a air conditioner we found him lounging in the sink. He has done this in the past but we still get a good laugh at him when he's in it. Kids I've baby sat for find it hilarious, especially when they turn the tap on him. I find it really important to have a air conditioned home for your pets, they can get heat stroke just as easily. My mom's dog did twice this year because she doesn't have it. Well I'll try to keep this updated with how Orion is doing.
