When i was young, my brother's cat died and i was totally stricken. Every single day for months, i would bring my parents breakfast in bed and say "it's okay, i know i can't have another cat." Then one day, they decided i could and i was allowed to go to the neighbors house and pick one of the kittens. They were already a couple months old and tubby happened to be the one my little grubby hands caught first.

***Just a note: Butterscotch was put to sleep May of 2007. He developed bone cancer and went downhill suddenly and was suffering. Until then, you would have never known he was 17 yrs old.
