Zip-a-dee-doo-dah, zip-a-dee-ay
My, oh my, I'm a DDP today!!!

MOL MOL ... OMC, my furmily is on a roll lately - Claw, Maggie & I were DDP's last month, our Angel Ralphie was a DDP in May and I'm a DDP today!! Guess it's in our blood, we're a family of writers, mom's dad was a big shot journalist in Cuba and mom was in journalism all through middle & high school and then college - although she didn't finish, something about getting married .. who cares, enough about them, this is all about ME, wonderful ME ladeeda laaaaa!

Hmmm, I wonder who will end up winning the coveted PURRlitzer prize, Claw, Maggie or wonderful me???

Thank you whoever, whatever, chooses the Catster DDP's, I am very grateful for the honor and will strive to only bring glory to the title of Daily Diary Pick!!!

Doing a VERY happy CONGA in sunny South Florida!!!

But I was hungry!!!

OMC, I got in trouble early this morning!!! My pawrents were still in bed trying to get in a few more winks before they had to get up to feed us. In her half asleep state, mom could hear a strange sound but she didn't feel like getting up to investigate ... finally the noise got a bit louder so she bolted out of bed and followed the sound to ... her closet!!! She saw Clawdius crouched down outside the closet and she thought perhaps there was a visitruder inside the closet so she turned the closet light on and *PLEASE GASP IN SURPRISE AT THIS POINT* found ... ME!!!

I had ripped a whole in the 8 pound bag of Wysong Epigen she had stored in her closet along with the rest of the hurricane supplies for us ... I was busy pulling out little pieces of food and eating them and in the process had scattered food all over the closet floor!!!

She yelled, "Aggie, what have you done?", which I thought was a pretty silly question because it was quite obvious what I had done - DUH!!! Of course, the moment she bellowed that statement dad got out of bed and had to peek in the closet to see what disaster I had brought on the entire household!!!

All three of us scattered, disappeared, poofed away so we couldn't be found for a while ... mom and dad took the bag of Wysong Epigen and put duct tape on the hole I had so carefully ripped open and then put the whole darn bag INSIDE a trash bag and stored it away - ARE YOU READY FOR THIS??? - inside the dishwasher!!! Dad said I don't know how to open the dishwasher MOL MOL ... not yet, dad, not yet but I'm working on it!!

You'd think they'd be happy that I'm resourceful enough to find food when I'm hungry!

YUMMY new food!

Mom got me a new dry food, it's called Epigen and it's made by Wysong. It's really yummy and mommy says it's better for me than the Holistic Select I was eating.

I love dry food, I eat canned food also but I insist on dry food and will keep headbutting mom's leg and talking up a storm until I get my dry food.

This is what Wysong says about their new food:

"Unique Epigen™ features:

• The first extruded dry diet/kibble pet food (patent pending) that is Starch Free™ (Epigen™ does what “Grain Free” pet foods only pretend to do)
• More closely resembles the food your pet is designed to eat
• Contains an unprecedented 60+% meat and organs and over 60% protein
• Has the natural flavor and taste that pets truly desire
• Is replete with all the critical food elements Wysong was first to put into pet foods – probiotics, prebiotics, enzymes, phytonutrients, nutraceuticals, natural form antioxidants, vitamins and minerals
• Rich in omega-3's and other essential fatty acids
• Made in the USA at Wysong manufacturing facilities with ingredients from USDA and FDA approved domestic sources

Wysong Epigen™ represents the first important kibble pet food innovation in almost 60 years (patent pending) and moves conventional dry extruded pet foods much closer to the high protein meat-based, starchless foods carnivores are genetically designed for. With that, they are given greater opportunity to enjoy their full natural health. Epigen™ is equally appropriate for both cats and dogs."

I have no idea what any of that means, I just know it's really yummy and mom even bought an extra 8# bag for our hurricane supplies - YIIIPEEE!!!

Can't wait for supper tonight ... NOM NOM

Yeah, I like to conga!!

Some might laugh & not understand why I like to conga and to them I say - WHATEVER!!! Life is best danced to the song of your heart, perhaps some do not have a song in their hearts, but I DO!!

My BFF Oreo loves to conga, all my friends like to conga - why? Because they have RHYTHM and a song in their hearts.

And know I'll switch to Spanish because ... I CAN!!! MOL MOL

MOL MOL MOL

ARRRRRRRRRRRIBA!!!! MOL MOL ... AMG, ciertos peludos me hacen reir.

Thank you, Catster!!!

Sad purrs

Lucy cat has gone to Rainbow Bridge, her mom and my mom met on the pet loss forum at RainbowBridge.com when my angel Ralphie went to the Bridge and then Ms. Laurie (Lucy's mom) lost her orange tabby, Brahmie.

Lucy was okay yesterday and then got very sick last night and she crossed over at the ER vet. They told Ms. Laurie that Lucy had cancer - but she never showed it!! We cats do that, we hide the pain and sickness, a leftover trait from our ancestors - it's for survival in the wild.

Mom's sad, she loves her online friends and their furbabies and it hurts her so much when a little fur leaves for the Bridge, especially unexpectedly like Lucy did.

Sweet Lucy, there will be a beautiful new star in the evening sky tonight and I know it will be you shining your love down on your mom and your brother, Scotty Underpants.

If ever I should leave this life unexpectedly like Lucy did, I want my TRUE friends to know I love them and will never forget them.

Sad purrs from my heart to Ms. Laurie's heart.

Way to go Diary Lady!!

This is turning out to be a WONDERFUL weekend so far. Yesterday we had Soul Expressions in our group, Hernando's Hideaway, and we also celebrated two birthdays, Milo's & Timmy's. Everyone had a wonderful time and quite a few furs sang songs at Soul Expressions.

Then today I woke up, grabbed a mug of nip tea and headed for the computer to check on the COTD & DOD and OMC, my sweetheart Midnight is Diary of the Day!!! I emailed him right away and he logged into Catster and checked it out for himself. He is so happy and so am I, very proud of him.

Tomorrow we're having two more birthdays in our groupand we'll be observing my angel Ralphie's Bridge day - I know mommy is sad, I see the leaky eyes *wipes her typist's tears and gives her a headbumpie* ... and we will also be observing Memorial Day and giving thanks for all our fallen heroes - God bless them and their families and God bless the USA.

MWAHAAHAA, I bagged another lizard last night!!! Mom found me in the dining room with my "catch of the day" MOL MOL ... the stupid thing was not moving so I started batting it around and I sent him under the pantry closet door MOL MOL ... OMC, poor mom told me there was no way she was going to open the pantry door 'cause it was a pretty BIG lizard and she didn't want to deal with it ... I wanted my catch back so I stuck my paw under the door and spent about 10 minutes trying to find him. Finally dad came home and, would you believe he RESCUED the stupid lizard and put him outside! He had no right to do that - it was MY lizard and I wasn't done with it MOL MOL ... not to worry, there will be more lizards to catch 'cause they wiggle their way into our screened patio where I silently sit in wait MWAHAAAHAAA!!!
