Arrival Story: A friend of mine and I went over to someones house who had a litter of kittens, she said she was taking them to the pound then next day so we took all 3. Marigold and Emmy were mine and she took the brother Wally. After a few weeks she wanted to know if I wanted Wally as well so I took him too. Sadly Wally had been exposed to FIP from an exotic shorthair she got from a unscrupulous breeder and only lived to be 7 months old. Emmy and Marigold have been pretty healthy.
Bio: Marigold reminds me of Pigpen in the Peanuts comic strip. Her feet are always wet and she is always unkempt and dirty, she is a lover and talks alot as does Emmy her sister.
5/08/09 Sadly today Marigld crossed the bridge. She had been in kidney failure and on Thyroid meds for almost 2 years. About a month ago she developed an inoperable growth on her bottom jaw. For the last 2 weeks she ate whatever she wanted but when it became to hard for her to eat I knew it was time to help her cross with love and dignity. She was always a very messy little girl but very proud and with such a sense of humor, she will be missed .
