Favorite Toy:
A thin leather string that used to be a belt.

Favorite Nap Spot:
On his perch, on his blanket, in his shoebox, under the couch, on his bag, on the bed, under the bed, under the chair... anywhere but the bed we bought for him.

Favorite Food:
All kinds of cheese, carrots, fresh salmon

He lifts his dry food to his mouth with his paws. He is a very good jumper. He sits like people.

Arrival Story:
We brought a very nervous Midnight home with us in February 2003. We adopted him from a shelter after my childhood kitty died.

Mibs is a happy, fat, very fluffy, lazy boy who enjoys sleeping and his yearly haircut (not so much the cutting part). He has a scar on his tummy from an unfortunate incident involving the ingestion of dental floss. He is extremely shy at first but will grow to love you. When he needs attention he'll flop on the floor and roll around. He mews in a trilling kind of way and is very talkative. He sleeps on his face. Update: Midnight has managed to lose three pounds on his vet-recommended diet! We are so proud of him! (This might be because he got a summer haircut and not because of the food, but we won't tell him that.)

My Tail of Devotion for Midnight

Mibs, I tell you all the time how special you are, but I'm not sure you understand English. I do know you understand cuddles, head stroking, tummy rubs, brushing and a soft voice, and I try to give you as much of those things as I can. You came to me during a cold, lonely winter when my heart was still broken from losing my best kitty friend. You are more than a friend now; you're like my very own fuzzy baby, always ready to do something silly or make a funny sound to cheer me up and make me laugh. Thank you for learning to love me - you'll be my favourite little boy forever and you'll always have a home with me.

This is a special Tail of Devotion
