It is one year today since my Chester went to the Rainbow Bridge, and I still miss him a lot...We'd been through so much him and I, and he was always there for me, through all the ups and downs of our nearly 15 years together. He was a unique 'little man'!

Chester passed away in my arms on Sunday April 29, around 11:00 pm. He was almost 15 years old. I miss him terribly...

It's my 14th Birthday!

Well, today is my 14th birthday, and I feel pretty good. My diabetes is under control, and I haven't walked funny (on account of the neuropathy induced by the diabetes) in ages. I still get insulin injections twice daily, but I don't mind them at all. My mom says I'm so good!
We have a new window seat in our home, and I enjoy curling up on the big cushion on sunny afternoons for a bit of sunbathing! I also like the view of the street action it affords me from the front bay windows. Other than that, I still like to have daily naps on the guest bed or on one of the armchairs in the living room, and in the evening, I usually cuddle up with my mom to watch TV or a movie.
