Arrival Story:
when i was 6, a friend of ours called us up and said they found a black and white kitten and asked if we wanted him, beacuse they already had two cats. it was around the time when the 101 dalmations cartoon movie was first popular, and he had a black spot on his face, so i wanted to name him after a dalmation. we decided on "lucky" since he was very lucky yo be going to a home instead of the pound.

Bio:
lucky started out as a family cat, but as lucky grew older he sort of "adopted" me. he would sleep on my bed every night and follow me around. when lucky was about 2 years old he got sick. we couldn't figure out what was wrong with him so we took him to the vet. the vet said he had a problem with his kidneys/bladder and would have to be on a special food. he was also dehydrated and stayed at the vet's office for 5 days getting iv fluids. he came home and we never had any other problems with him, except that he was obese for a while and had to cut back on his food. he even vame to school with me one day when i was in 6th grade. everyone loved him and he was a very outgoing cat. we used to take him in the car and bring him to petco and petsmart, where he would strut up and down the isals like he owned the place, and say hi to everyone he saw. on august 1st, 2005, lucky's 13th birthday, my brother woke me up and told me lucky was breathing funny under his bed. i called my dad and we rushed lucky to the vet. he had to stay there all day and they couldn't find anythign wrong with him. when we went to pick him up later that day, he passed away in my arms on the car ride home. lucky was very special to me and we went thoguh alot together. i will always love him. while i love the other cats we have, no other cat will ever come close to what lucky and i had.
