Arrival Story:
My family had two cats before this one, unfortunately, they both didn't work out for us. One was crazy and insane, and clearly needed to be outdoors, and the second, had a lot of digestive and stomach problems and was not very social. We had always gone to check the local shelter to see if there were any potential cats that could work for us, but every time we came up empty. One day however, my mother and sister went to the shelter, and found the perfect cat! Our Baby. After getting medically checked out and spayed, we were able to take our darling kitty home. For the first few weeks we kept her in the basement near the food and litterbox so she could get accustomed to us and the way we did things. Thank goodness she was a sweet cat right from the start, and she worked out for the best. Her name was originally Luna, given to her by the rescuers at the shelter, however my mother, for some reason started calling her Baby, and she seemed to respond better to that than to Luna. So Baby became her name, and our pet for the rest of her nine lives.

Dearest Wishes for a Friend at the Bridge

Last night was really difficult, on me and my human. A friend of mine, though I never did meet him, Snowball, went to the rainbow bridge. The poor thing had cancer of the pancreas that went to his liver. I wish I hadn't been so stubborn and listened to my human when she said to go and meet him. He was probably the best cat out there, despite some quirks (but we all have some right?). I know his human and my human are close friends... and it pains me to see them so sad. All I can say now, is that I wish the best to Snowball who is now frolicing and humping things to his hearts delight at the Rainbow Bridge. Rest in peace friend, may you be free and never have to know pain again.

First Entry

Oh I know how original a title! This whole site thing is pretty interesting. Remind me to thank my human later with a nice warm tongue bath when she wakes up. I know it's 2:30am, and my human refuses to get up and feed me! So I have taken over her computer to make this entry! Teehee! What is it with humans and not being hungry when us cats are? I think 2:30am is the perfect time for a little snack and a drink! And maybe a run to the litter box too. What can I say? I'm a night cat! Like my human, she's a night... owl is it? Though I don't think she is a bird, I think she's more human. Yes. Definetly human. I love sleeping during the day and exploring during the night. It's amazing, how things during the day seem so boring and dull, but at night, every turn around the corner is so exciting! Meow! I think I'll go bother my human again, and if she still ignores me... time to go and make some noise by chasing the shadows! MEOW!
