Arrival Story:
During 2003, my grandmother was temporarily in a nursing home (since the hospital didn't think she needed to stay there...and she still had a bit of medical treatment to undergo, so we couldn't bring her home). The lady in the bed next to her owned Princess and kept on talking (as if she was bragging!) about how Princess was left alone at her house with no food or water, was always shot at with bee-bee guns by the neighboor boys, and how even when the woman lived there, Princess had to scavenge for food. The women eventually offered to give Princess to us (thank God!), so we jumped at taking the poor girl in.

Bio:
When we got Princess, she was extremely tiny. Her bones were very visable, and she was clearly starving. She was slightly dehydrated as well. After we took her to the vet, we also discovered that she had been hit with more than just a couple of bee-bee gun bullets. Princess has scars from those bullets all over her body. It took some time, but we were able to nurse Princess back to a healthy weight. She's extremely timid around other cats, and I have to wonder if it's because she might have been tramatized by some neighboorhood cats with her old family. Poor Princess! Princess is an incredibly sweet cat who only wants to be loved. I can't imagine why someone would want to hurt her!
