You're going to love it here. You're completely healthy again. You can romp and play and chase butterflies all you want now.

I know your crossing was difficult on your family. It's pretty tough for those who loved us, so we're going to try and help them too. They're encouraged to post and talk about how they feel. There's lots of love here, and all the kitties, doggies, and families have gone through it, so there's lots of support. I'll be with you until you get your paws settled.

Let me share some of the wonderful things that you'll be able to experience here. One of the most important is that ANYTHING you wish for is yours for the taking. All you have to do is wish for it, and it will appear to you. Wish for toys, beds, things you’d like to eat, places you’d like to go…anything. Imagine too that you can eat as much as you want and never gain weight or throw up. This can be a good thing in case you overdo it at the Whipped Cream Parlor. Just choose your flavor -- anchovy is very good. There are restaurants for every taste and lots of entertainment, and let's not forget the Catnip Cocktails.

You can go to the many fun places. There's a Kitten Museum where they have interactive classes in kite making and puppet shows. We had a carnival with rides for the kits and adults, lots of yummy food, and fun things to see. There are hot air balloon rides, fields of catnip, fountains of milk and honey. We have Hammock Talk on Wednesday and Friday evenings. You’ll get a notice on how it works. We also have a place called Fur Love, a virtual website found in the Forums section of our main page, where you can meet other kitties who are looking for that special someone.

Are you getting the idea? It is truly a kitty heaven.

Taking Pills

My mummy just threw my pills onto the floor and I couldn't eat it fast enough. The problem with that was no matter what kind of pill she accidently dropped onto the floor, I would race to eat it before she could pick it up. hee, hee, that was fun for me to watch mummy freak out. The other cats in our family would get their pills dropped into the back of their throats and mummy would hold their mouths shut and gently stroke under their chins to encourage swallowing. This is always a struggle for mummy. I think of pills as food and I love my food.

I'm half Siamese!

My catmummy was a sealpoint siamese. My catdaddy was a big black tom who met up with my mummy one day when she was out for a walk. I guess I take after my catdaddy since I weighed 19 lbs before I went to Rainbow Bridge. But my tail and my scream was all siamese. We had a catdoor on our backdoor and I used to scream to be let out of the front door and I would quickly run to the back and go into the house again through the catdoor and run to my mummy and scream at her to let me out the front door again. I sure miss those days. My mummy would let me out again and we would play this game about 4 times before my mummy would say "NO". Then I would pout and go have a nap.

My Arrival at Rainbow Bridge

When I was 14 I had cancerous tumors on my back. They were like worts and they were itchy and bled sometimes. My mummy had the vet cut off all of them, but they grew back again. I used to go outside anytime I wanted through a cat door. I did that for 16 years with my sister's Princess and Cookie. When I was 16 I got attacked by a mummy raccoon!!! There was lots of growling and screaming! My mummy ran outside and scared off the raccoon. I was bleeding all over and my mummy put me into a kitty cage and rushed me to the vet. Mummy decided that the kindest thing to do was to send me to Rainbow Bridge. My mummy cried for me because I was in pain and very tramatized. Mummy says that cats like me are hard to find. Then about 1 month later my sister Cookie disappeared. A neighbor found her body lying on the sand beside the river. We don't know if she was killed by a raccoon or a coyote. So now Cookie and I are playing at Rainbow Bridge until our mummy comes for us. My cancer tumors are gone now and I feel young again.
