My friend's neighbor had a cat that they never fed or took care of and she got pregnant. She gave birth to 3 kittens under my friend's porch, and Jasmine was the only girl. I thought she was adorable, so I cradled her in my arms and rode my bike home to show my mom. My mom agreed that she was cute and we should keep her, but my dad needed some convincing. Eventually he let me keep her, and my mom came up with the name Jasmine.
