One More Week!!! A Girl??? What are they thinking?

Girls!!!

Hey Kaylen, there is a girl coming into the house, and from what I hear, she thinks she is going to rule the roost. Boy, has she got a big surprise coming. She is not coming into the house and taking over. This is our place, these are our toys. We have to keep control. Your job is mom, keep her out of the way. I will keep dad occupied. Maybe, if the "girl" feels ignored, she will go back where she came from.

Wait, you are the lil warrior. hmmm, maybe we can work something out on this.

Taste of whip cream..yummmm

Dear Diary,

Today i got to taste on my mom's finger tip a treat of whipped cream, let me tell ya, it was mmmmmmmewwwwgooooddd..it was kinda like milk, but fluffier and sweeter, i want somemore!!! I guess my mom is kinda scared to give me more than a taste, but no worries, i seen where she hides it now, i'll be watching for a opportunity!!

All Wet!!!!

I don't think kittens should get wet, but mom does I guess.

No, it was not the squirt bottle, it was a bath. Mom thinks we needed bathing, and she did me first. OH! All that water, those bubbles, it was terrible, and then, the cold, I HATE BEING COLD!!!! Reminds me of momma. Luckily, she was there with a towel quick, and a second towel afterwards where I could just lounge around and snuggle and be warm. But, the funniest thing of the day, was, she bathed my bro, Kaylen. I will let Kaylen tell his story though, but I just chuckled and chuckled while she did it.

Did I tell you yet, that mom had an electric blanket on the bed for a while and learned how to turn it on!!! OH, the warmth, sweet warmth.!!!!

Good News!!

Guess what i heard last night?? We, that is, Kaylen and me, we are getting a new little sister. And she is just like me, a purebred Munchkin with short little legs like myself! Wow, that will be so awesome having someone around that knows what it's like to be so close to the floor boards all the time. Although, i can't really complain, because i have heard on numerous occasions that it really makes us look adorable! I do try hard to strut my stuff just a lil extra when i know someone is watching, hehehe, but don't tell Mom or Dad, i don't want those treats to stop coming! hehehe

Anyways, Kaylen and me have been just lounging around out here on the lanai of our house. We have soooo much room to run around in here, plus nobody would beleive how many toys and playhouses and boxes and stuff we have to play with! It's just totally insane!! But, hey, shhhh, don't tell anyone, because we like our lives just the way they are, thank you very much, hehehehe. My brother, Kaylen and myself like to sit up on the toy box and watch outside. My mom has taught us what a tree is and birds and these little lizards that love to hang outside down here in FL. Sometimes I think they come up next to me in the window on purpose and purposely sit there and taunt Kaylen and myself. I just sit there and watch how stupid they look, while Kaylen goes nutso! He starts to make these squeaky noises and even claws at the screen on the window to get out there and get his butt but good, but Mom and Dad don't like him on the screens at all.

Do you know that Mom and Dad had to finally go and buy a squirt bottle and put water in it for every time Kaylen or myself gets into places we are not suppose to, like on the screens or high places, and you know all of us cats just love the kitchen counter tops. We even met Mel, he is a fish, that sits up there in this nice looking bowl. Oh my goodness, my Mom had a lil fit when she seen both of us up there looking at Mel. She swooshed him out of our sight, but he is back up there, but we are being good and promised Mom we would stay down and leave old Mel alone, *for now anyways, hahaha*.

So, I wanted to share my exciting day with everyone. I will keep y'all posted on the happenings here at the Smith household and let you know when my new lil sister, Kylie gets to come home. Boy, i sure do hope she likes me!!
