Arrival Story:
I first met Tyson and his brother Mason back in 1998 while volunteering at Bide-A-Wee Animal Shelter across from my high school. I fell absolutely in love with these big guys but could not adopt them since I was leaving for college. Fortunately, they were adopted by someone else and I knew they had gone to a good home. During the summer of 2004, I returned to Bide-A-Wee as a shelter associate and to my surprise there they were! I spent the first few weeks on the job waiting for someone to come along and adopt them again. After about two months, I knew what I had to do. I walked in on my day off and declared I was going to adopt them. I made it just in time too because a women was interested in visiting with them. It has been nothing but love since! They are the coolest, most affectionate cats I have ever met.
