Arrival Story:
The boyfriend wanted a cat. We went clear across town to a rescue-league set-up. I wanted this nice tortoise girl cat, he saw this "Stanley" sitting in the back of his cage sleeping. We had a cat carrier with us, but once the car started moving, the cat went nuts. I took him out and held the flea-ridden thing. Well, the first week was not good. The boyfriend dealt with many episodes of the cat stalking and attacking him. He called the rescue league and they told him that if this cat was brought back yet again, the cat would probably have to be put down. Of course, out of guilt of being the new caretaker, it is now over 14 years later...with his "correct" name....Vlad the Impaler.
