Arrival Story:
We got Calvin 2 days after our female cat, Margot, had to be put down from Kidney Failure in 9/05. I never look in the paper, and I happened to open the classifieds up at the library. Well, there was an ad for kittens, so we HAD to go the next day. My husband I were sitting on the couch when a tiny black and white fuzzball leaped onto our lap, and well, that was that. Calvin chose US. We got him a brother, Stewie, from a local humane society in 12/05, and the boys adore each other.
Bio:
Calvin is a very loving little guy and adores having lots of toys and a brother and his parents to play with. He loves to greet me in the morning with kisses and a GIGANTIC purr which can be heard from across the room. Calvin LOVES car rides and regularly comes to Petsmart with us to check out the birds and rodents.

My mom and dad weighed me yesterday and I'm up to NINE POUNDS! Holy cow! And I'm not even 6 months old until the 25th of this month. Rest assured, lady kitties, I'm not fat in the least - in fact, I'm quite sleek. And my mom still has my collar off so I can sneak up on Stewie really well.

Today is the one day I fear more than not having a canister of kitty treats - today, was....
...BATH DAY.
My mom started the bath water and Dad closed the door behind me, and I knew something was up. Mom is nice enough to hop in the bathtub with me, but all the same, I felt the urge to become a flailing ball of claws.
I am quite upset, understandably, for my lustrous coat has been reduced to a soggy, sticking-straight up mess. Mom and Dad think it's funny. Let's see how funny they think it is when I leave them a "surprise" under the couch.
