Arrival Story:
Tai climbed to the second floor balcony of my building over and over to get a handout when I refused to feed him while placing food out for ferals. (Tai was clearly NOT a feral.) After days of begging in vain Tai searched me out at home (not where I fed ferals) and turned up on the balcony with no obvious way of having gotten there. This went on for days. On day 4, when no one reported a lost cat of his description, I took him to the vet for shots, debugging, and neutering. That was November 2002 and we are still together.

Bio:
Tai seemed to have come from nowhere and was missed by no one. He tracks me like a dogger and sits gazing worshipfully at me as if to say 'thanks.' The pleasure is all mine. We've been through six major hurricanes together including Wilma which destroyed our home and claimed three other cats and a pet parrot. It took months to find an apartment in a devistated county but we moved in to a rental in December 2005 . In 2007 time had come to leave Florida forever. We moved to Georgia and we have a certified wildlife habitat. . Tai and Pewter have a house to live in in the country and a black collie and an Australian Cattle Dog to play with and love. They feel they are fortunate to have come so very far through so much hardship and to have had a dream come true....a huge yard filled with BIRDS!
