Arrival Story:
Aretha was adopted in 1986 from Boston's Angell Memorial Animal Hospital. She was a TINY thing, only about a month old.

Bio:
Aretha lived in Boston until 1990 and then moved to Northern California. First Palo Alto, and later up to San Francisco. She was an affectionate, vocal, loving kitty. We miss her terribly. She had various old-age illnesses (she was 19 and half year old after all!!!) and right before we moved to our new house she decided it was time to leave us. I am convinced that she saw the moving boxes and decided that we should go on without her. She died at home, in my arms. I will never forget her.
