Systematically knocking off every Christmas tree ornament lower than 4 feet, climbing said tree to complete the job and knocking it over, batting at pictures on the wall in the middle of the night to wake me up and get attention

Her Highness does not tolerate insolence in humans, therefore you must only pet when approached and pick up when given the signal of Her Highness rolling around on the floor.

Favorite Toy:
Black rubber bands. She climbs into the drawer to get them out and scatters them around my apartment before stashing them in her secret hiding place I have yet to find.

Favorite Nap Spot:
On top of any person who is sitting still or sleeping, or else my ottoman which she seems to think is her princess pedestal.

Favorite Food:
Yogurt. She will karate chop any spoon with yogurt and lick up the mess.

She saves up her springs for one giant jump at a time.

Arrival Story:
I was walking around campus and saw someone holding something small and fuzzy. Upon second glance I realized it was the tiniest cat I had ever seen. I just had to hold her, and the person said she was found under the kiln in the ceramics studio just before they were going to fire it. She needed a home, and so I took her in. I was planning on adopting a black cat after graduation, and so it was quite providential. She was only two weeks old at the time, and weighed only 12oz. We couldn't find her mother, so I kept her with me at all times and fed her with a bottle. (after consultation with the vet of course). She became the studio pet and lived in my fleece pocket while I finished my thesis.

Riley grew up to be very fearless and affectionate, but with a few quirks. She loves her adoptive parents but is disinterested in new people or other cats. There is one man in her life, however. She first met Mr. Norman Bates last June when she flew out to Portland to be with her new family. At only 2 pounds she ruled the roost and kept the other girls at bay while she mercilessly attacked her 18 pound suitor, jumping up on chairs to dive bomb him from the air and latching onto his neck like the fruit bat she is. They continue their affair even as he remains married to his first wife, Mini1. Now she lives in Chicago with her sometimes friend Tiramisu and keeps two human servants. Her goal in life is to get out into the hallway.
