Arrival Story:
We found Joe's mother, Vinchenza, in our backyard as a stray. She would keep popping up until her belly started getting bigger when she'd come less and less. We saw her again and she was thinner, so apparently she had kittens in our backyard. Later on, when Vinchenza was comfortable with us handling the kittens, she came back and we ended up taking the whole group in. All of his brothers and sisters including Vinchenz got adopted except Joe (mainly due to him having one eye). So we adopted Little Joe.

R.I.P.:
I miss you so much. I can't even describe it. You were my best friend and was always there for me. When I was upset, you just knew. I felt like you took after me when you started eating fruit and biting your nails. I just don't even know what to do because you're not here anymore. I didn't see you much this year as much as I use to because of work/school and I regret it so much. You always faced the odds, you were the runt of the litter, you had one eye. You lived so long with the problems of undersized organs and I made sure it was the happiest life possible. Choosing to put you to sleep because you were so sickly on May 12th was the hardest decision to make within three hours. I can't believe I had to do it...I wish I could go back in time and hold you and keeping holding you so doctors would go away and stop putting needles inside of you. You just stared at me the whole time, you were so sick, and even though you were all bandaged up and had needles in you, you still were purring because I was there. I love you and I miss you so much and you're always in my heart. 8/8/99-5/12/08
