A Big Life For Such A Little Cat

Home Sweet Home

The other day my brother and I had quite an adventure when we mommy took us to this scary place where a person dressed in white made us sit on a table so she could check us over. I'm still not sure what she was up too but ever since then mommy has been catching us and forcing us to drink this yucky liquid every day. She keeps telling us it is for our own good but I can't imagine why. Other than that, though, life is good here. I've pretty much taken over the house. I may not be as big as mommy but that doesn't mean I'm scared of her or anything. Okay so every now and then she may startle me but I swear I really am brave!

Mommy's brother has been trying to come up with a new name for my brother, Kitty since mommy told him that "Kitty" was a stupid name. He has finally come up with "Tupac" and he calls me "Notorious B-I-G." I don't get it but mommy tells me I shouldn't worry about it because he's just being dumb. I heard her tell him that she didn't think he could have come up with a worse name than "Kitty" but he proved her wrong. So I guess that means "Kitty" is sticking as his name. I still make fun of him about it though since thats short for the human name "Katherine" and he's a boy. hehe.

Anyway, I have plenty of invisible prey to hunt and I have plans later this afternoon to do some more shredding on the curtains (I have such good taste when it comes to interior design) so I will write back when something else exciting happens.

Wow. What a big day. After spending the morning locked in my tiny cage in the big white room with all the animals, my brother and I were visited by a nice lady who pet us for a long time. She told one of the men who look after us that she wanted to take us home. I did not know what this "home" place was, but I thought it must be better than this cramped cage that I share with my brother. The man put us in a cardborad box and after a strange ride in a magic moving space, we arived "home." It was a scary place with lots of new smells and sights. My brother and I have mostly stayed in the kitchen but we go in the living room sometimes, too. There is just so many scary looking things to see and smell in this new house that I think I'd rather just stay curled up on the kitchen chair for now. That is, when I'm not chasing my brother around. Maybe I'll get used to this big new place. It seems like such a big world for such a little cat, but hey, that's why they call me Mr. Big.
