Arrival Story:
I was 17 years old, and home from school feeling a little off. By the mid-afternoon I was feeling better, and my boyfriend and I were looking through the newspaper and saw and add for cats. I said, "Hey, wanna get a cat?" And my boyfriend said sure. So we called the number and they had one kitten left. We traveled by bus in the freezing winter, and I was wearing stupid china doll shoes... the bus driver let us off on the wrong stop, and we had to walk forever to get to the house where she lived. My boyfriend left me at the correct bus stop, and he went to get her, bringing her back all wrapped up in a blanket in a box with holes in it. We took her to the grocery store with us, and got her everything she'd need to be a happy kitty! She's been my best friend ever since.

Bio:
Holly passed away June 1st, 2009... she was diagnosed with diabeties and wasn't doing so well. She went peacefully, with a smile on her face, cuddled by my dear friend Maria and Cyril. RIP baby girl... Mama loves you forever and ever... We have planted a Holly tree in the front yard in memory of her.
