Arrival Story:
We mentioned to a cat owning coworker that we were thinking of getting a cat. A week later another coworker asked the first coworker if she wanted a cat that belonged to a friend of hers. Coworker A couldn't take another cat, but sent Coworker B to me. Her previous owner was getting a Great Dane and didn't think he could handle both an active (and loud!) Bengal and a Dane. I can't imagine chosing a big old dog over our sweet kitty, but I guess there's no accounting for taste... She came home with me less than a week later, and we've been her devoted slaves ever since.
