Rye was born to Whiskey eight years ago. There were only two in the litter; Rock and Rye. I don't know what happened to Whiskey because she was my father's cat. As were Rock and Rye. Rock ran away a few years ago, so my father only had Rye left. After he passed away last year I took in Rye and he's been spoiled ever since.
