Arrival Story:
Paws showed up in my yard spring time 2003. He and an orange tabby (Butters) came at the same time. I had 4 ferals that I cared for. One day I left my kitchen door open and the ferals came wandering in (as usual), so did Paws. When I turned to look at them they all ran but Paws stuck around. As soon as I moved he ran, but I happened to notice his white legs against the dark room, and those TOES, lots of them. He had funny paws. Later, I saw that Butters had a flea collar on and called him over. Paws of course came to me as well. I realized they were both friendly and thought they were from the same household. I asked around (other caretakers), went on petfinder, etc. I didn't see any Lost flyers in the neighborhood so I thought they were abandoned. Every time I saw Paws I would say, "Hello little funny paws"... hence, his name. Butters disappeared a few months later. So did a couple of my ferals. Paws was coming in more and more so I got him neutered and he's been with me ever since. He's an indoor/outdoor cat.

Bio:
In July 2004 Paws was lost for 11 days but he came home on his own. Currently, Paws is missing again. He disappeared mid-November but we're still hoping we find him again.
