Arrival Story: Mommy and Daddy wanted to adopt a kitty and they were going to choose another cat, but when they steped in the kitty pen I started meowing out to them! Other people held me and were thinking about adopting me, but Mommy and Daddy came back a few days later and couldn't leave me alone. They said "We want to adopt him...and his sister too!" I am so glad Ruby and I didn't have to be seperated!
Bio: I love people food and I love digging through the grabage...even though Mommy and Daddy feed me, I don't care! People food is the shiznit!
Mommy and Daddy are also watching Grandma's bird, Homer for the summer and I like to reach out and touch Homer and play with Homer because his feathers are jsut like those on my toy...hmm....that gives me an idea...I'll be right back!

So we are watching Grandma's bird for her...Daddy named him Homer because he makes a funny noise that sounds like Homer Simpsons laughing. He is a ringneck dove and he coos all day long.
One day mommy let Homer out for a bit. I saw his cage was open and he was getting out, so I reached out to touch him and I realized he was just like one of my toys! Mommy saw and cried out, "Jammi, NO!" and took Homer away before I could do anything else.....
Homer does a court dance whenever he sees me, so I think he still likes me!
Mamoo got us a rug from Wal-Mart! You can see it in my newest pictures-it's very nice! It's soft, warm, and it's got all kinds of colors on it! All the kitties love it-even Ruby!
Anyway, it is a wet, rainy Sunday and we are looking for tweeters! Mamoo got something called a "shepherd's hook" and put her tweeter feeders on it, and Ben and I are waiting for little feathered lunches to come along and notice them. Or even better yet......Mr. Squirrel!!!
Mommy wanted me to tell everyone about this: http://www.goodsearch.com is a new search engine that will allow you to support your favorite chairty. Scroll to the bottom of the page, and you will see a place to put in your chairty's name. Do that and click on "verify" and it will bring up the chairty. Then begin searching! This is very important because your searches will donate money to your chosen chairty-each and every time you use it! We sponser Helping Paws, the local no-kill shelter I was adopted from, and in all their searches from January through March they have raised $100.00 to help the animals! This is such a free and easy way to help no-kill shelters provide the animals with the care they need-please join as! Free, easy and Fun!
Also, since it is Spring again, Petco is sponsering Spring A Pet where donations of anywhere from $1 to $20 can go to local organizations to help their animals! You can donate in person or online.
