 Quick Bio:
 Coloration: Black and White

Likes: Lovin' from her girl (me) and Whisker Lickins treats

Pet-Peeves: Being locked out or locked in -- away from the action

Favorite Toy: My butt

Favorite Nap Spot: Usually on my bed, but she does like to mix it up (in the hot Chico summers it was the sink)

Favorite Food: Science Diet Light -- what she's had from the beginning

Skills: Laying with her head on my pillow and her paw on my shoulder -- just makes me melt like butta

Dwells:
indoors

Arrival Story: When I moved to Santa Barbara after college, I lived in places for two years where I couldn't have pets -- and I grew up always having pets, especially cats. I finally moved into a cat-friendly house and went to the SB Humane Society to choose a new feline companion. I actually went twice, and the first time I picked a gray cat whose name I can't recall. But when I went back again to make a final decision, this little black and white furball won me over. She was just a kitten, so I had no problem changing her name from Shasta (which reminds me of that terrible soda that probably no longer exists) to something a little more highbrow.

Bio: Since most people can't remember Anais, my cat is mostly known as Annie. I also call her "Little Orca Annie" (never forgotten by my friends), "Plumpkin," "Cookie Catter," "Sweet Pea" and many other affectionate nicknames...

Annie,
I meant to write to you on March 30th. I can't believe it's been a year since I had to let you go. I still miss you so much -- no kitty will ever take your place in my heart.
I love you, Little Orca.
