Arrival Story:
I'm not sure how I got there, but I was staying at Anti Cruelty. There I sat in my cage hating the world when my future mom and dad came in. I decided they might be interesting so I sat and looked cute and well- behaved. They decided to take me out. I purred when I sat on my future mom's lap (she thinks it was a sign, but really I was just scared). The shelter lady took me back and was holding me and I didn't like it. I was agitated and tried to bite her. I was just living up to the label they gave me (does not like restraint). Luckily, not sure why, this did not scare my new mom and dad off. They decided to adopt me and I went home with my mom. At first I followed her everywhere, but when my mom tried to pet me I bit her and attacked her hand. Sometimes I even sort of barked and lunged at her. She stuck it out and now she is welcome to stay in MY home.

I like things done when I ask the first time. If there is no response I will meow louder and begin to scratch things. I love to lay on warm spots. I've laid on the oven, directly on the radiators, on laptops, on cable boxes and laps. I also am a good hunter. Back when we lived in an apt. I caught several mice to show my mom. Of course she wasn't happy that I didn't kill them first. But, hey, if I had done that I wouldn't have been able to play with them.

My Tail of Devotion for Nisie

Nisie I love you so much. I try everyday to express it to you. When you curl up in a ball on my stomach or near me I try to will you to know how much I love you. You make me smile and laugh out loud. Just looking at you makes me feel happy. I hope that you enjoy living with me and know that I would rather be home with you and not leaving you for work everyday. I love how you greet me everyday at the door with loud meows and purrs and rubs and it's not (usually) because you want dinner. It also makes me smile inside when I come in the back door and hear you running/bounding into the kitchen to greet me. I love the silly things you do like jumping sideways with your back arched and chasing me from room to room and trying to create a nest out of the curtain. You're desire to be near anything warm is endearing. I am so proud of the progress you've made since I first brought you home and you were sort of mean and liked to bite. While you still retain a somewhat arrogant and annoyed attitude at times it just makes you who you are. I look forward to hopefully many many years to come of loving you and enjoying your company.

This is a special Tail of Devotion
