What a week I've had! Me and Nipsy were playing like we always do, and he jumped on top of me and started biting me like he always does. Only this time he bit by my tail instead of my neck and he bit so hard his teeth went into me! It didn't hurt that bad; I'm used to Nips' violence. I just got a little scab and went on my way, was all healed up in a day.
Only thing was, the humans decided it wasn't healed enough. My whole lower back got all swelled up overnight like there was a golfball under my skin. I tried to convince them it didn't bother me but they took me to the vet. My humans were really worried it was an infection but the vet said it couldn't be an abscess 'cause I wasn't tender at all and usually cats in that situation try to kill her if she touches them. But she agreed something was wrong and stuck the lump with a needle to see what it was filed with.
Sure enough, my people were right and I had an evil abscess that would have kept growing until it killed off my skin, and a 105 degree fever. (I didn't feel sick at all!) They put this funny mask with yucky smelling air on my face and soon I was kinda sleepy so I just laid down and relaxed for a bit. The next thing I knew I had a funny haircut (see my photobook) and a big open sore on my back where my painless lump use to be.
We got home and they put me in the bathroom and wouldn't let me out. I was mad 'cause I wanted to play and cuddle with my friends but as soon as I snuck out they chased after me 'cause I was bleeding everywhere and Nipsy immediately jumped on my back and tried to ride me like a horse, which I guess now he isn't allowed to do. I had to stay in there for a whole day and a half, but once I stopped licking my sore they let me free. Now they keep pilling me twice a day, but they give me greenies after each pill and I'm getting lots of attention. The moral of the story is, "Don't let your crazy brother bite you really hard or you'll have to go to the vet and get an embarrassing haircut!"
