Boone isn't with us any longer, I was devastated when we lost him. Boone was such a tiny guy, with a big personality. He went to stay with my Mom along with Crockett as I had 5 kitties and was moving around the country a bit and renting apts with kitties is pretty difficult (not to mention expensive).

Some of my fondest memories of all the boys are leash/harness training them in Spokane WA. We had such a big back yard at the time - and I would take all five out (the 3 little guys were just kittens then) and they would walk around on their long leashes and harnesses and enjoy the outdoors.

The three kittens loved their hammock tree and watching their kitty video - yes they have their very own kitty video called Video for Cats! It has fishes, hamsters, birds, and other kitties, all in their natural environments doing what they do best. They would stand up on their hammock tree and remain glued to the TV for the entire half hour video!

Boone was always getting into something. I remember my friend Tanji being over for dinner and we left our steaks out on our dinner plates on the dining room table. There wasn't much left and we were just taking a break before cleaning up. Next thing I see is Boone dragging one of the carcasses along the floor! It was practically bigger than he was at that time as he was only 6 months old maybe! It was too funny.

He loved being around his brothers and laying with them (as you can see in many of his pictures. He had the cutest face and sweetest eyes, you could practically see into his soul (yes I know many people don't think animals have souls but I disagree!)

My biggest regret is not being more proactive in his healthcare and discovering his heart problems while something could have been done to help maintain a relatively healthy heart. No one should go the way he went, and it breaks my heart to think that his heart just got too big for his body.

He will never be forgotten....
