 Birthday: October 31st 2002
 Coloration: Black

Likes: Chewing on Huckleberry (his baby kitty) and licking Dean's feet after he gets out of the shower

Pet-Peeves: Being picked up, being locked out of the bedroom when Dean's feet are available for licking.

Favorite Toy: Huckleberry Finn

Favorite Nap Spot: The highest point in the house, of course -- the top of the stairs

Favorite Food: He'll eat just about anything. Except canned food and Pounce treats.

Skills: Appearing as a pair of bright eyes peering out from a dark form.

Dwells:
indoors

Arrival Story: The story from "Dad" Dean: "I was at work one day, and my buddy Jeff gave me a call. His sister had found a stray cat. I drove to the sister's house, and no one was home. I opened my car door and a black cat crawled into the car and onto my lap, and wouldn't leave. I've been his human ever since."

Bio: Miko is a cat of few words. He's rather a burly fellow, but when he meows he can barely get out a little squeak. After the squeak comes brief aspiration, indicating the effort it cost him to get out even that smallest of squeaks. Most of the time, he communicates by shaking his glossy black mane playfully. He breakfasts early, at 4am, and if there is no food in his food dish, he informs his humans charmingly by climbing upon their chests, kneading vigorously, and purring loudly. If that doesn't rouse them, he's not above slobbering on thier fingers and sticking his whiskers up thier noses. That usually works if nothing else will.
The happiest day of Miko's life was the day we brought him a kitten. He was so happy to have someone to play with him, since Hettibell would not pay him any attention. Now, Huckleberry is Miko's baby kitty and he loves her, and cleans her, and teaches her to stalk Hettie, and chews on her, and pounces her.

Lives Remaining: 7 of 9

Forums Motto: Sleep well, purr loud, pounce kitten.

Hettie's dog, Thaddy, came to see her today. He licked the baby human's face over and over. He tried to lick me, too, but I hissed. I'm not scared of him, but he smells like...like...like dog! Hettie likes him but she's not afraid to whack him when he does something wrong, like get on one of the kitties' thrones. He's really nice, but he's scared of thunder. When there's a storm, he sits on the couch or in Byrd's chair with the humans, curls up, and shakes. Hettie and I aren't afraid of anything, and neither was...Pan. Huckleberry, Teddy, and Mrs. Doyle are all afraid of at least one thing--Hettie's puppy. Mrs. Doyle isn't here anymore, but when she was, she would hide with Teddy in Byrd's room. Huckleberry stays in Saw's, the baby's, and my favorite human's room.

Tricksy humanses! They stole it from us! And we wants it!
Those humans took my baby! She was going into heat and they took her away...to the vet...to get her...to the vet!!! It wasn't the humans! It was the vet! But that doesn't make sense because my favorite human has a friend that's a vet and another one of the humans also knows a vet and those vets are nice! But maybe...maybe it's a different vet! An evil vet! Like the one that took Pandora when she got sick! Maybe they took my baby Mrs. Doyle, too! But that's not fair because I wanted to stare out from the darkness and be friends with every kitty in the world but then they took Mrs. Doyle away and I don't know where she is anymore! I want her to come back and so do Father Ted and Hettie. But not Huckleberry, because she doesn't like her.

A few months ago, four babies and a really thin cat came to our house. Hettie was the first to see them, and then Huckleberry, and then me. At first we didn't believe Hettie that there was a whole other family in the universe, but we were proved wrong. There were two orange striped kittens, a boy called Dougal and a girl called Father Jack. At first, everyone thought Father Jack was a boy.
There was also a girl kitty, Mrs. Doyle, who looked like a darker version of her mom, but the real shocker is the first born boy, Father Ted. Except for the eyes, he looked exactly...like...ME!
Saw and Dean decided to keep Mrs. Doyle and Father Ted. Byrd wanted to keep all of them, but the other humans wouldn't let her. I wanted to keep all of them, too.
Huckleberry, on the 0ther hand, hates the babies. She growls, hisses, and even spits at them! She spanks them until they fall! I want to help them, but she's mean to everyone. One time, Byrd tried to interfere and Huckleberry stalked off and hit Hettie, and then me! I was really depressed for the rest of the day. After all, what's wrong with a couple babies?
