My pal Seana has tagged me, Peep! Here are my seven facts about little old me:
1. I have a boycat names Boudin, or Boo-dah, as I call him.
2. I like the smell of Mommy's green tea and Night Blooming Jasmine moisturizers. (very girlie)
3. I like to hang out under tables and stools and in boxes, or on top of tables, the back of the couch, or anywhere high up. Never in the middle. I like to be higher or lower than the other kitties.
4. I like to whack the other kitties with my paw as they walk by hee hee.
5. I like to play with Gatorade caps, toilet paper rolls, buttons, keys, lots of little things.
6. I always bury my plate after I am done eating, and I also bury other cats "stuff" in the litter box. I also dig at the water bowl as I drink.
7. I have a daily routine that I stick to very strictly. I do not like anything messing up my schedule.
That is all me! The kitties I am going to tag are:

I haven't written in my diary in a long time! Oh Boy. Lots of things have been going on lately. Furst off, I have a new boycat named Boudin, pronounced Boo-dah. He is an orangey and he has a bro named Tiggy and they are both in the Elk's Lodge with Furman. I don't know what they do on those fishing trips, but they always come back smelling like minnows and beer. hmph.
I have almost fully recovered from my Bird in the Window Incident. It was horrible. A few months ago I was sitting in a window and a bird flew into it. I thought the sky was falling and Mommy couldn't get me out from the corner for days. I thought everything I knew was going to get me like that evil bird. I didn't sit in the window for a long time, and I would JUMP at everything. Every noise would send me into my safe corner in Mommy's room. But I am finally my old peep self again. I have been peeping at the neighbors again, and Mommy says I have the bounce back in my step. I never thought I'd see the day, but I have been birdwatching again too. When I see the big cahoonah birds I know to get out of the window fast.
We had a bad storm last weekend and it blew the power out for days. We froze our bippies off and it was dark all the time and we pretended to be pioneer kitties. Furman was a scaredy cat and he hid all night long. I was brave but I was so cold I had to stay near Mommy all the time. It wasn't because I was scared even though it might have looked that way.
My Mommy is going on a trip on a couple days to visit my Aunt Carly. Aunt Carly is Grandpaw's new dog and she is Mommy's sisterdog. The crazy pooch likes to play with CAT TOYS. I better not catch Mommy packing any of my stuff for that D-O-G. And she better not come back smelling like that pup or I'll pee on her while she is sleeping MOL.
Well, I better go now. I need to sniff some things. xoxoxo, The Peepster

Hi Everycat, My mom figured we should write a diary to update everyone on how I am doing since my traumatic day on Tuesday. So, this is the update: I am afraid of birds now. Yup. I said it.
I guess I should scoot back a little and explain myself. On Tuesday this week I has a fun morning eating and playing and chasing Sassy, then in the afternoon Mom noticed I was doing my Alien Bobble Head move that I do when I see something potentally threatening, or just some toy that has been on the floor for six weeks that I never noticed before. I move my head all around and sneak up slowly then do three huge ninja jumps back, then run back up and whack it with my paw. So I was doing that to everything on Tuesday late afternoon and refused to eat my lunch. I was not afriad of my Mommy, or the other kitties, or Grandmaw though. I started to hide in the corner, and was acting very strange. Not strange enough for mom to call the vet yet, but strange. Now if you knew my Mom you would know that she does not EVER fool around with kitty health and calls the vet to ask any questions. Plus, I am just a strange kitty, so she was not overly alarmed. That is until three in the morning when I woke her up and was TOTALLY FREAKED OUT. I was afraid of my nibbles in my food dish, and everything else in the room except Mommy. I whacked the nibbles out of my plate and then jumped back like they were going to explode! I also kept staring at the window like as if a UFO was coming to get us. So Mom ran to the computer and posted in the forums about it. She stayed with me all night and I curled up in the corner and fell alseep and had a good rest. Mommy did not rest at all, and she plugged in the Feliway Diffuser for me. In the morning she offered me my food again, this time she gave me the good stuff--Fancy Feast!! WOOWOOO! This is like candy for me, and I gobbled it up even thought I was still afraid of the windows, but I did bat around my Cat Dancer a little. Then I used my litter box.
Mommy called the vet and explained the whole thing. The vet said that since I was eating and litter boxin' okay he thought something spooked me real bad. He thought taking me in would make it worse considering I am a feral kitty and all. So Mom stayed home with me and watched me all day. The she figured out something:
There are birds making a nest right on our apartment right below the bedroom window, and they fly SO CLOSE to the window they look like they will come through the glass. She noticed me ducking every time a bird shadow went by, then running to hide. And they are making tons of noise chirping. And there are also tons of seagulls swooping around looking for food across the road from us. They make scary laughing noises. So Mommy made sure all the windows were closed for me, even though it is sweltering in here (mol-woops, sorry hoomins!!) So Mom thinks a bird bonked into the screen when I was sitting in the window.
The other thing is that Mommy saw a new stray cat come and look in our back door! That would be stressful for me too. But mainly the bird thing. *shudder*
Today I am much better, I explored Grandmaw's bedroom and played with my Cat Dancer, and I ate like a piggy and sunbathed. But I am still terrified of the birds. I *did* sneak up to the window and peek out a few minutes ago cuz the evil birds are sleeping right now and I think it is safe. I think I am going to have to pawmail Skeezix about this and see of he can come up with some kind of bird repellant for me.
I would like to thank all the catster kitties who sent me tons of purrrrs, rosettes, and furrendly pawmails. That was so nice and it made me feel better. I think I will feel much better by the weekend, but I don't think I will ever enjoy birdwatching again. :(

Dear Diary,
We have a rocking chair in Grandmaw's room with a fleece bed on it. We have a rotating schedule of who gets to use it and when. Sassy gets it all morning after breakfast, sometimes Dot joins her. Furman Dexter steals it after lunch, and sometimes at night. I get it when the hoomins are watching tv downstairs at night. When one of us jumps down, another jumps up immediately. Grandmaw says that the chair is prime real estate in our house, and she is going to put a sign up sheet there so we all get equal time. I should pee on it so no one else wants to lay there=)
Today I watched my new neighbor move in. They took furniture from the car into the apartment all day long, and I couldn't peel myself away from the window. Mommy always tells me to stop being a peeping tom, but I can't help it. And now some men came and cut down all the trees that used to sheild us from seeing across the street. I can see everything that goes on over there. There are a pack of hoomin kids and they all like to chase a ball just like me! I wonder if they like to dunk mice in water bowls too.
Meow-raow, Phoebe Peeps

5AM-6:04 AM
wake up and stretch, poke Mommy's face repeatedly, jump off bed loudly and dig at the water bowl so it makes clanking sounds, go pee pee in box then dig at plastic mat loudly, look out window, hide under butterfly chair.
6:05-8:30
AM Grandmaw opens bedroom door, run downstairs to investigate, run back and forth pretending to be doing something important, eat breakfast making sure to kick as many crunchies off the plate as possible, chase Sassy upstairs, chase Furman downstairs, run back upstairs and slam Mommy's bedroom door closed, rub on Mommy's legs and trip her while she is getting ready, find best sun patch on bed, knead fleece blanket, go to sleep.
8:31-12noon
Sleep, only waking up to move with the sun patch across the room and go back to sleep, then get up and play with cat dancer, dig at water bowl, get in litterbox and do Award Winning Sized Poop, dig on plastic mat, hide in Hello Kitty Clubhouse Box, head downstairs for lunch making sure to kick as many crunchies onto the floor as possible, run back and forth pretending to be on important government mission, jump in window and spy on neighbors, chase Sassy upstairs, chase Polka Dot downstairs.

Hide in Hello Kitty Clubhouse Box with Wooly Bully, find warm place to sleep, either on back of couch or Mommy's bed, knead, go to sleep in uncomfortable looking tight ball, wake up when humans come home from work, sit at top of stairs like a statue with feet holding tail down pretending they are not there, come downstairs and run back and forth looking for shadows to attack, hang out in kitchen and beg for treats, play with Furman's tail, get chased upstairs into clubhouse box.
6:01 pm-10:30 pm
Sit on back of chair in living room and sniff Mommy's head, threaten to chase Sassy, sleep on back of chair, get up and dig at water bowl, chase Sassy upstairs and Furman downstairs, slap Dottie and run, lick Wooly Bully and then cough on wool clumps, play with cat dancer, gut fake mouse and dip remains in water bowl, do fancy pose on edge of litterbox and do pee pee, dig on plastic mat, run downstairs and do Victory Lap, hug scratching post, make wild eyes indicating that it is time for supper, chase Sassy away from Food Room Door, sit in front of door, run back and forth with mommy dishes out food, jump on chair and kick food off plate, then run upstairs and reserve place on Mommy's bed.
10:31PM-5Am
March on fleece blanket, jump off bed after door is closed, eat rest of food rations, play with cat dancer, hide favorite toys in Hello Kitty Clubhouse Box, dig at water bowl, look out window, jump back on bed and snuggle up next to Mommy, go to sleep and dream about catnip fields and chasing Sassy upstairs and Furman downstairs.

Mommy has named me her Official Christmas Elf Helper. So far this year I helped keep the ornaments off the Christmas tree. I don't know who keeps putting them back up, but they must not be very bright, cuz I have never seen any trees outside with ornaments on them. Then I sat on my special lookout table in the kitchen and helped Mommy keep track of her recipe as she baked. That was fun because in between cookie batches she couldn't resist my cuteness and I got extra treats which I have just discovered that I like. Now today Mommy did all her wrapping. That was the best so far because I accidently found my birthday purresent. Mommy got me a new cat dancer with a blue catnip mouse on one end instead of just the plain one. I also saw that she got my dog cousin Hennah some bacon and peanut butter scented bubbles to play with. I want those too now. While Mommy was wrapping I jumped and tried to catch "It" under the crinkly wrapping paper. "It" was very elusive today GRRRRR "It" really bothers me sometimes. Someday I will catch It for sure, but right now there are better things to do. So, Mommy had some beautiful sparkly green ribbon. I did my best to help her tie bows, but she must have problems accepting help, cuz she told me if I didn't stop she was going to tie me to the ceiling by my toes. Then I found something not so fun. It is called Tape. Tape sticks to fur and is very hard to remove, especially if you sit on it. It gets all up in your bidness. Now I am cuddled up in my snowflake fleece and we are listening to human carols. Purrsonally, I like the Jingle Cats better, but we lost our cassette. Purrhaps Santa will bring us a new cd? Tomorrow I am going to help Gradmaw wrap her gifts for Mommy. Mommy said if I report back to her what she is getting there is a nice piece of fish in it for me on Christmas Day. Woohooooo!!!

I am Thankful for...
....that I get to sleep snuggled up under Mamma's chin.
....that I live in a warm house and don't need to hunt for my food and be constantly watching behind my back anymore.
....that my purrson puts fleece blankeys all over the place for us.
....that I have a water bowl AND mice to dunk in it.
....that I have Furman and Polka Dot to chase.
....that I have Furman and Polka Dot to chase me.
....that Grandmaw gives me noogies in the morning when she feeds me breakfast.
....that Mamma was patient with me when I peed in places I shouldn't, and worked with me to learn the right places.
....that there are seagulls to watch swooping around in the sky.
....that I am not outside for those seagulls to swoop *me* up into the sky!!!
....that my purrson leaves a radio on for me when she goes out so I can dance my bippie off when no one is looking.
....that I have a best furriend Pipey, and other catster furriends.

I just found this website. You can make your very own snowflakes!! :D
http://snowflakes.lookandfeel.com/
Of course, this is much more fun to do with real paper, if only those pesky hoomins would let us use the scissors;-)
and now, since I am in a snowy mood, here is the website of Mr. Snowflake Bentley. He was the first person to ever photograph a snow crystal!
http://snowflakebentley.com
Here is his wikipedia page:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wilson_Bentley
I must learn how to do a link one of these days mol.
His books are beauuuuutiful. I can't wait for winter!!!
