Arrival Story:
We adopted Toby from a shelter right after we bought our house. He used to be named Spazz, but we immediately renamed him.

Bio:
Toby is a charmer, and he's gotten a lot more affectionate in the last few years. He never used to like to be picked up, but now he lets me pick him up and hold him on his back, like a baby. The vet says he needs to lose weight, but I can't bear to put him on a diet. I figure I'll take a chance on him getting diabetes, rather than face certain hell if I go to portion control - I think he'd be miserable with controlled feeding. Toby is kind of mean to his adopted big brother, Joe. He roughhouses and chases Joe every day. It's the only thing I yell at them for. Toby's cutest tricks are sitting with crossed paws when he's just hanging out, and lifting one paw in a begging motion when he approaches someone for attention. I call him my stalker boyfriend because he follows me around from room to room, and sometimes acts like he's trying to trip me! He also has a very quiet, high-pitched kitten mew that he rarely uses.
