Arrival Story:
When I met them, Molly and her sister Mae were 10 week old kittens in a shelter. Their mother had been found stray and pregnant and they had been born in a foster home. Molly walked right up to me and meowed! At the time, I thought that meant she picked me out especially. I now know that it was because I was holding a cat toy with feathers! When they first came home, they lived with 3 adults, 2 babies, 2 (and soon 3) other cats and a husky. They adjusted very easily to a small apartment with just me shortly before their first birthday. When young, they enjoyed traveling. They frequented their grandparents' house as well as a second grade classroom. Traveling has become less exciting the older we get, however, and Molly now prefers supervised exploration of the neighborhood over getting in a car.
